What about hygiene in streetfood?

In Bangkok streetfood is very traditional. Despite its popularity, they had plans to ban it because of the hygiene. After negotiating they decided to keep the streetfood, but make some new rules.

In Prague streetfood is common as well. We went to a streetfood festival to ask what they think about hygiene and this whole situation. All of the owners take care about their food. They don’t use food over date, use gloves and make sure that everything is covered especially during transport. They say they can get controlled any time, but want to be clean any time as well. They think it would be a shame if Thailand would ban it, since a lot of owners got their inspiration from there.

Another Street Food Pop Up #2 will be next Tuesday at 2th of May at the same place (city hall at Karlovo náměstí). More info
